The Archaeology of 0 to 1 is a column of TILT my newsletter where I regularly reverse engineer the first years of a successful product to uncover what was done to make it so.

The idea was born by listening to startups founders talking about the various distribution problems that they encounter. With the Archaeology of 0 to 1, I want to remind them (and everyone for that matter) that all products, also the most successful ones, have been early stage at some point or another and have faced the very same problems we all face. So don't give up. You just need to find what works for you.
